Dogs and Cats on Transport

Linda had a busy weekend, lucky dog!  She not only took Snickers to a Meet and Greet (see post below), but she drove dogs and cats today (Sunday).  So here goes.
Alice and Ashes

Meet Alice and Ashes.  These two cute cuddlers are on their way to an adopting family.  They are the luckiest ones, and their long trip was worth it.  Are they young siblings?  We'll never know.  But it sure looks like they are already friends and will enjoy their life together in their new home.

Augustine and Beckett
Augustine and Beckett, aren't quite as lucky, but still their future is much brighter than it was.  The tiger cat in the back is disabled due to abuse, and cannot walk.  But he got out of that awful situation and hopefully he'll find someone to give him love and affection in his new life.  The one thing we know for sure is that all the dogs and cats brought up here on these transports have a much brighter future than where they were in the south, and that makes everyone's efforts so worthwhile.  Augustine and Beckett are on their way to foster families.

Jovie
Little Jovie is on her way to One Life to Live in Scranton, where she will be well taken care of, gets lots of hugs, good meals and will soon be living with a foster family.  You can see she was enjoying being in the arms of this volunteer who handed her over to Linda.  Linda tells me there were more than 60 dogs on this transport!

Garrison
And finally, Linda drove Garrison, who really captured her attention.  He was a "love bug" and was also on his way to One Life to Live Animal Rescue in Scranton.  He was quite the gentleman as he rode politely in the back seat.
