Just look at this face! |
Gloria was another dog involved in the training class Eric and I attended in July. She is also the opening cover photo on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/underdograilroadstories
Gloria accompanied Shortie to Animal Care Sanctuary. Kennels are a great temporary solution to care for rescue dogs, but far better to be at a sanctuary where running and playing are part of the agenda. And Gloria is doing just that with her new best friend, Brady, at their Wellsboro location.

Brady (L) and Gloria (R) |
Gloria and Brady wrestle, play tug and
chase each other through green grass and rolling hills at the sanctuary. Because Gloria is a high energy dog, she needs a
lot of exercise to be happy. Brady is one of the sanctuary handler's dogs who
gets along with everyone, and is about the same age as Gloria. Brady too loves to romp around
in the yards, so they decided to pair them up to see how they did, and
they fell in love.

I'm stronger! No, I'm stronger! |
They are the perfect match with the same amount of energy
and spunk so they can tire each other out. Not only do they love playing tug
and running around together, but they both love the water. The
sanctuary has big tubs of water in each yard for the dogs to drink out of
and swim in, and they both manage to get in the tubs and play together! Just
watching them play makes everyone smile because you can truly see how happy they
both are.

Bet you can't catch me! |
It would be great for Gloria to go to a home where she has
a doggie playmate, but a person who loves to play tug, wrestle and run with her would be just as great. You can see sweet Gloria at their
Wellsboro location. Check her out at:
